I will soon be starting a new adventure in the world of (cloud/hybrid) platform management (more on this next week 😀) and am interested in learning more about how those who live in the world of DevOps manages their platform infrastructure. Specifically, what tools and processes do you follow when releasing updates to your cloud, on-premises or hybrid platforms?
I am familiar with many of the tools that manage infrastructure as code, such as AWS CloudFormatiom, AWS CDK, ARM Templates, Terraform, and so on. I also know some of these tools have proprietary domain-specific languages (DSLs) and others support various general purpose languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
I am interested in what you and your team has found that works for you as well as any “lessons learned” that you have picked up along the way.
Please Share Your Experiences!
I have put together a very quick survey (five quick questions plus one optional question) where you can share more about the tools that you use. There is also an optional, free-form question where you can tell us about any power user tricks-n-tips that have worked really well for you and your team.

Sharing is Caring!
Once you’ve taken a few seconds to complete the survey, please take another moment to share the survey link (or this post) out to others. The more responses we can get, the better! The survey is set to close on Wednesday, March 31st. I will post the full results back to this blog shortly after it closes.
