Today, Microsoft announced the date and location of their next Build conference (notice: they dropped the slashes they used to use when talking about //Build/). The conference will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on April 2nd – 4th.
No official agenda has yet been posted and, if it’s like last year’s Build conference, no agenda will be posted until the conference is upon us. However, it is pretty much assumed at this point that topics will cover what’s coming next with Windows, Windows Phone, Windows Azure, Windows Server, Visual Studio, etc. There is also speculation that Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Update 1 will ship in the first half of 2014 so the timing would be perfect for announcements for these updates as well.
Registration opens January 14th, 2014 at 9am PST. Registration is $2,095. Follow @bldwin on twitter to keep up with announcements.
